Dan L. Fortenbacher, O.D. |
| Dr. Dan L. Fortenbacher
received his Doctor of Optometry from Michigan’s College of
Optometry at Ferris State University in 1979. He is a Board
Certified Fellow in Developmental Vision and Therapy, and works
with children and adults with developmental and rehabilitative
vision conditions. He is the Founder of WoW Vision Therapy
Center in Saint Joseph, Michigan. Dr. Fortenbacher has served on local, state, national and international positions for the profession. Currently, he is 'Immediate Past President' of the College of Optometrists in Vision Development (COVD). The COVD is the international optometric organization that certifies doctors in the specialty of developmental vision and therapy in the U.S. and around the world. Dr. Fortenbacher is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Michigan Optometric Association, the College of Optometrists in Vision Development, the Neuro Optometric Rehabilitation Association, the Optometric Extension Program Foundation and the Southwestern Michigan Optometric Society. Dr. Fortenbacher and his wife, Suzanne, have 4 children and enjoy spending time with them. He is also an active member and past President of the Saint Joseph Lions Club. |
