Dr. Gary
Sisson is a native of St. Joseph. He studied at Hope
College for his undergraduate studies and received his
Doctor of Optometry Degree from Indiana University in
1965.
Dr Sisson sees patients of all ages
and uses the latest in technology to help evaluate the
eye and visual system. He fits contact lenses, including
those for astigmatism, bifocal, and irregular corneas.
He also provides refractive surgery consultation and the
diagnosis and treatment of dry eyes and ocular diseases.
Dr. Sisson has been a member of the American Optometric
Association, Michigan Optometric Association, American
Academy of Optometry and Southwestern Michigan
Optometric Society.
Outside of the practice, Dr. Sisson
enjoys sailing, running, and bicycling. He is an active
member and past president of the St. Joseph Kiwanis
Club, active in his church, and a member of the board of
directors of the St. Joseph Junior Foundation. He and
his wife have two grown children and one grandchild
